1922 PARIS finds its origin in "The Soul of France", an emblematic work of the French sculptor Carlo Sarrabezolles , named National Prize in 1922.

This inspiration is manifested in the celebration of the Roaring Twenties, a period characterized by cultural and artistic effervescence, and the elegance of Art Deco. “The Soul of France” embodies not only the creative and innovative spirit of this period, but also the passion and energy that animate 1922 PARIS.

Carlo Sarrabezolles

Carlo Sarrabezolles , French sculptor, distinguished himself with his innovative approach to sculpture on fresh concrete, standing out in monumental art. Recognized for his contributions to the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts, he left a lasting legacy in art deco.

His works are present in around twenty museums, including the Musée de la Piscine de Roubaix, and adorn emblematic civil buildings such as the Palais de Chaillot in Paris.
